We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son and personal Word of God, fully divine and personally distinct from the Father, through whom all things were made. The eternal Son became truly human without ceasing to be God, so that sinners who cannot save or reform themselves might be reconciled to God through Him. We believe that the Holy Spirit works through God’s truth to convict, illuminate, regenerate, sanctify, and equip believers so that they increasingly know Christ, obey Christ, love one another, and faithfully bear witness to Christ.

John 1:4-13

We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God and Creator, has life in Himself and is the true Light of mankind. Fallen humanity lives in spiritual darkness and cannot save itself, but those who receive Christ and believe in His name are graciously given the right to become children of God. This new birth is not produced by ancestry, human effort, religious works, or another person’s decision, but is the gracious work of God, received through faith and resulting in a transformed life of holiness, good works, fellowship, and witness. Those who have received Christ do not become the source of light or life; rather, they bear witness to Christ, in dependence upon the Holy Spirit, so that others may hear and believe.
