Day 21 — To God Be the Glory

Romans 11:36; Jude 24–25

Sometimes, the more we understand, the more we realize how much there is to wonder at.

That is true as we learn about God.

We have considered His greatness, power, holiness, and love. These are not separate pieces of God. They describe the one perfect God, whose wisdom, justice, mercy, and faithfulness never work against one another.

And our response is worship.

After describing God’s wisdom and mercy, Paul declares, “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.”

God is the source and sustainer of creation. Everything exists for His glory. He deserves our praise because of who He is, even when our circumstances are difficult.

Giving God glory does not make Him greater. It means honoring the greatness He already possesses.

We see His glory clearly in His saving work through Jesus Christ.

The eternal Son of God became man, lived without sin, died in the place of sinners, and rose again. Because our sin deserves God’s righteous judgment, Christ’s death in our place reveals both God’s justice and His mercy.

By God’s grace, all who repent and trust Jesus as Lord and Savior receive forgiveness and eternal life. Even repentance and faith are responses made possible by His grace, not achievements that earn salvation.

The praise belongs to Him.

Jude ends his letter by praising God, who is able to keep His people from stumbling and present them blameless before His glorious presence with great joy.

That does not mean believers never struggle or sin. Our final hope rests in God’s power to preserve us through Christ. He calls us to persevere in faith, and we depend on His grace as we do.

The God who saves His people will bring them safely into His presence.

So we can worship with gratitude today and hope for tomorrow.

This series ends, but knowing God does not.

There will always be more to learn, more reasons to trust Him, and more occasions to praise Him.

May what we have learned lead us to love Him more deeply, obey Him more faithfully, honor Him in ordinary life, and point others toward Christ.

To God be the glory—now and forever.
