Welcome, and thank you for helping shape our church’s new bylaws. This survey walks you through 32 governance topics, grouped into 11 categories (A through K). For each topic you’ll make one decision, optionally leave a note, and optionally choose an example from another church that you’d like us to model our wording after. Please read the steps below before you begin — it only takes a minute and will make the rest easy.

Step 1 — Decide on each topic

1. For every topic you’ll see two buttons. Click ✓ Include if you believe this topic should be covered in our new bylaws, or ✗ Do Not Include if you believe it should be left out.
2. Your choice will highlight so you can see what you picked. If you change your mind, click the other button — or click the same button again to clear your choice. Leaving a topic with no choice is also fine; it will simply be recorded as “No Selection.”

Step 2 — Add a comment (optional)

• Under each topic is a Notes / Comments box. Use it to explain your reasoning, raise a question, or suggest specific wording. This is optional, but your thoughts here are very helpful to the drafting team.

Step 3 — Choose a church example (optional but important)

1. Below the comment box, you’ll see colored buttons for the churches that address that topic: GLC (Grace Life), CFC (Country Faith), LBC (Lakeshore Bible), and WH (Woodland Hills). Not every church addresses every topic, so you may see fewer than four.
2. Click a church button to open and read its example. You can click through each church to compare how they handle the topic.
3. The example you leave open is the one you are choosing — that is the wording you’d like us to consider including for this topic. A green “✓ … example chosen” message will confirm your pick.
4. Clicking the same church a second time closes it and removes your choice. If no example is left open, no example is recorded for that topic. Only one church example can be chosen per topic — opening a different church automatically replaces your previous pick.

Step 4 — Move through the survey

• Click Next → at the bottom to move to the next category. Use ← Back to return to a previous category if you missed something or want to revise an answer. The progress bar at the top shows how far along you are.

Step 5 — Send your results (please don’t skip this!)

1. After the last category, click Finish & View Results →. You’ll see a full summary of every decision, your comments, and the church examples you chose.
2. Your answers are NOT automatically sent anywhere. You must send them yourself using one of these two methods:
   • Easiest: Click ✉ Send Results by Email. This opens your email program with everything already filled in and addressed to Pastor Daren. Just press send.
   • If that doesn’t work (for example, on a device with no email app set up): click ⎘ Copy to Clipboard, then open your own email (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), start a new message to [email protected], and paste (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) the results into the body. The full text also appears in the box at the bottom of the results page so you can select and copy it manually if needed.
